India, Reason Behind the Increase in FDI in Asia

When the globe got hit by the pandemic, the FDI flow across the world dropped by 35%, i.e., from $1.5 trillion to $1 trillion while FDI flow in developing nations of Asia increased by 4% to $535 billion. China, Hong Kong, India, UAE have defied the global trend to register increase in FDI flow, says World Investment Report 2021 of United Nations on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
