The Korean pop septet BTS has made history with their song ‘Butter’ as it becomes the longest-running No. 1 debut recorded by a single group in Hot 100 history. The song continues to be at the top for its fifth consecutive week! Before this, the song was ruling the Billboard charts for four weeks of June. In addition to this, it has persistently maintained its second position in the Global 200 chart. What is noteworthy is that Butter has sold more than 100,000 in sales for all the five weeks since its release. This makes it the first song since Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ to do so. According to Billboard, Butter was streamed 12.4 million times in the US and had 128,400 downloads in sales.
