‘Dune’ to World Premiere at Venice Film Festival

‘Dune’, the highly anticipated big-screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal science fiction bestseller is all set for its world premiere at the 2021 Venice Film Festival. The Warner Bros. film will officially debut on September 3 in an out of competition slot. Denis Villeneuve’s directed, the movie stars Timothée Chalamet in his first leading blockbuster role as Paul Atreides. Starring opposite Chalamet are Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Charlotte Rampling, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Sharon Duncan Brewster, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Chang Chen, and David Dastmalchian. The film is the first of a planned two-part movie.
