China regulator seeks to avoid U.S. delistings of Chinese firms

Sources say that Chinese officials are in talks with the US partners for preventing China’s companies from being delisted from U.S. stock exchanges.

The American authorities are looking forward to remove foreign companies off American stock exchanges if their audits fail to meet US standards. Citing national security concerns, Chinese authorities have been reluctant to allow overseas regulators to inspect working papers from local accounting firms. Chinese officials say that this move by the States is not good for the inter-country relations.
