Maldives to open doors for Indian tourists

The Maldives, announced to open it’s borders for South Asian countries from July 15. President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih announced his government’s decisions on resuming tourists from South Asian countries which included India. It was a huge relief for both Indian tourists and Maldives, because Maldives is a go-to place for the Indians whereas, Maldives economy totally depend on tourism. Maldives were eagerly waiting for situation to ease down so that resume to invite tourists, although they’ve already started tourists via tweets calling it as ‘Trip to Adventure’.

Ankita Kumari is a student of B.A Journalism and Mass Communication in Delhi school of Journalism from Delhi University.
