666 new COVID-19 cases are reported in Mongolia, with 9 additional fatalities.

More than half of the new cases and deaths in Mongolia have been recorded in Ulan Bator, the country’s capital and the hardest-hit location by COVID-19.

According to the government, there are currently 10,379 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the country, with 24,742 getting home-based treatment.

So far, 65.9% of Mongolia’s population has gotten two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 501,100 Mongolians over the age of 18 receiving a booster injection.
