After experiencing a grave COVID-19 situation with several lockdowns, New Zealand has finally set a date to reopen its border for international tourists. The country was one of the first few to shut its borders down during the pandemic.

Sources claim the country will allow fully vaccinated visitors to enter and visit the country from 30 April, 2022. Along with this, New Zealand has announced that fully vaccinated New Zealand citizens and residents will be allowed to return to the country from neighboring Australia from 16 January onwards.
