
In downtown Rotterdam, Netherlands, citizens were protesting against COVID-19 restrictions which soon turned to be violent. The Dutch police used ammunitions and opened fire upon the protesters participating in the demonstration and riots.
The officers and authorities arrested over 50 protesters among which almost half of them were minors. The officers themselves were wounded and injured, one was reported having a leg injury and another was taken with ambulance staff. Netherlands has experienced increasing number of cases in the recent weeks and people are getting fed up the new lockdown.
