Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie “The Beach” set in Thailand’s Maya Bay was a hit movie. The set is now expected to reopen at the earliest after over 3 years as it was closed earlier due to certain environmental damage.
Thailand’s minister of natural resources and environment, Varawut Silpa-archa, told that the beach was closed to restore its natural resources and now that the situation has gotten better, the government has decided to reopen it. Along with this, the country is also looking forward to resume normal working hours for restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
