
The United States on Monday announced its plan to allocate 55 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to the world, by the end of June. This also includes the distribution of 16 million doses to Asian countries including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and others. Earlier this month, the administration announced the plan for the first 25 million doses that the US has already begun shipping. The allocation of a total of 80 million doses has been promised by the President.
