Agni-Prime: New nuclear capable missile tested by India

On Monday and 10:55 am, India successfully carried out the test firing of a new missile of the Agni series known as Agni-Prime off the coast of Odisha from the launchpad No-4 of Chandipur.

According to the government sources, it was a textbook launch and the new nuclear missile is fully made up of composite material. 

It is a short range ballistic missile with a range capability between 1,000 and 2,000 kms. It is a canisterised missile.
