Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav, while talking to AajTak, said that the government will consider reopening all universities and colleges with 50 percent capacity and strict Covid-19 guidelines, most likely from August.
The education minister further said, “All students and teachers attending college will have to show their vaccine certificate before entering.” Some of the Covid-19 protocols will include strict social distancing, usage of facemasks, and changed seating arrangements.
Minister Mohan Yadav further said, “If the Chief Minister accepts our proposal, we will issue orders to open universities and colleges in the month of August itself. Since the students studying in the college are above 18 years of age, then there is nothing to worry about.”
