Expansion of the cabinet came into the spotlight as the private visit of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to Delhi came in the news. He is likely to visit Delhi on June 22 to meet PM Modi and BJP President JP Nadda and there are speculations that he will talk about the inclusion of his party in the cabinet.
The JDU stayed out of the cabinet in 2019 because of the dispute over the number of ministers but now it seems that 2 out of 16 MLAs will get a place in the cabinet.
