With Punjab assembly elections in mind early next year, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced some ‘free services’ for the Punjab to attract a larger section of public and to increase its vote bank. During a rally in Chandigarh, Kejriwal announced 3 major promises alike Delhi, first free electricity up to 300 units to every household, second all old electricity bills waiving and 24-hr power supply. He also claimed that with these steps about 80% of the households would be free from electricity bills.
