Indian Government decided to launch “Ethanol flex Engines”

On Monday,

Union Minister “Nitin Gadkari” said India has decided to allow ethanol based “flex Engines”, which power vehicles using local farm produce and not fossil fuels.

Government decided to launch this scheme within three months.

A “flex Fuel Engine” is an internal combustion engine that can run on more than one fuel and also a mixture.

Gadkari said, that the government has already started giving permissions to establish 100% ethanol petrol pumps and he also added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already inaugurated two such facilities in Pune, Maharashtra.
