Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) signed Between India and Bhutan for 10 years

MoU signed between Minister of Environment Forest and Climate change, Prakash Javadekar (INDIA) and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairperson of National Environment Commission, Lyponpo, Dr. Tandi Dorji (BHUTAN).

The MoU will open new vistas of Bilateral Co-operation in the area of climate change, waste management and prevention of air pollution etc.

During speaking about the relationship between the two countries, Mr. Prakash Javadekar said that India wants to engage with Bhutan on environmental Related issues Including climate change.

The MoU shall facilitate exchange experiences, best practices and technical knowledge through both public and private sectors and research institutions for sustainable development.
