Moderna’s Covid-19 Vaccine granted restricted emergency use in India

The Centre has officially announced the entry of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine in India. Moderna marks as the the fourth drug , after AstraZeneca’s Covishield, Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Russia’s SputnikV to fight the deadly disease. The country is soon going to have Pfizer vaccine available as well. Cipla has received approval from the country’s drugs regulator to import the Moderna vaccine for restricted emergency use.
