In a historical judgement on Wednesday, apex court has directed Union of India and others to provide Ex-gratia to the families of deceased due to Covid and post-Covid diseases. The Supreme court directed National Disaster Management Authority to frame guidelines for the Ex-gratia within 6 weeks. The amount of Ex-gratia will be decided by the Government. The verdict is given by a three-judge bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan.
