
On Monday, June 21, The Delhi high Court reserved its order after hearing the pleas filed by Facebook and WhatsApp on June 4, challenging the competition commission of India’s notice regarding the new privacy policy. The messaging applications urged the Delhi HC to stay the CCI notice asking them to furnish certain information. During the hearing, the court told Aman lekhi, the Additional Solicitor General, the CCI will not take any action if he can convince the court till July 9. Earlier, on April 22, Delhi HC had dismissed their pleas challenging a CCI order for investigation.
