On the 5th day of World Test Championship Final in Southampton, New Zealand veteran players Ross Taylor, Tim Southee and Kane Williamson made new records in history of New Zealand cricket. Most experienced player of the team and middle order batsman Ross Taylor became the 1st New Zealand player to reach 18,000 runs milestone and highest run scorer for NZ in international cricket. Also, Fast bowling veteran Tim Southee surpassed 600 wickets in international cricket with the wickets of both Indian openers. Thus, became 2nd most wicket taker for nation after Daniel Vettori. Along with them, Skipper Kane Williamson moved ahead of Stephen Fleming and became 2nd highest run getter for NZ.
