According to ESPNcricinfo, T20 World Cup will start a couple of days after the IPL Final likely to held on 15 October. The T20 World Cup will begin on October 17 with the final scheduled on November 14. Although BCCI is yet to make any official statements on the regarding shifting of the T20 World Cup to UAE, but it is speculated that T20 Wold Cup will be played in UAE and Oman.
