Former English batsman Kevin Pietersen has said that he would support English team if team pulls out of this winter’ Ashes to be held later this year in Australia. He declared the 4 months long tour as absolutely insane if players couldn’t see their families for months. “An Ashes tour is hard enough and to do it without your family for all or part of it, is just stupid”, he said. His tough remarks have come because of the strict quarantine and bio-bubble rules which English players would need to follow there. Ashes would be held in Australia from 8 December 21 to 18 January 22 comprising 5 test matches. Ashes series is Cricket’s oldest and biggest rivalry between England and Australia.
